Founded by U.S. Navy veteran and author Barbara J. Ratliff and her husband, Charles Ratliff, Jackrabbit Punkin Publishing LLC is an independent publishing company based in St. Marys, Georgia. Our mission, “Stories of Endurance. Strategies for Survival,” reflects our commitment to publishing stories that preserve memories, celebrate perseverance, and connect generations. Our growing catalog includes Battles Beyond the Waves, a memoir series exploring life, service, family, and resilience, and The Adventures of D.D. & Reuel, a children's mystery series celebrating curiosity, family, and community. Through our Read It Forward initiative, we also work to expand access to books and encourage meaningful connections through reading. At Jackrabbit Punkin Publishing, we believe every story has a purpose and every reader matters.
